Pole Loading Analysis and Make-Ready Support
Geospatial Net connects field inventory, attachment geometry, span and equipment data, pole-loading inputs, exception review and make-ready documentation. The workflow is designed around the governing owner standard, jurisdiction and required engineering approval-not a generic spreadsheet.
No polished brief required. Start with the corridor, asset data or workflow that is holding delivery back.
Where delivery breaks down
The workflow problem
Pole programmes stall when field observations, owner records, proposed attachments and structural assumptions cannot be traced through the application and review process.
Survey data cannot support analysis
Pole identity, class, height, attachment elevations, spans, guys, equipment, condition and photo evidence are incomplete or inconsistent.
Rules differ by owner and jurisdiction
Clearance, loading, application and certification requirements are applied without a controlled standards register.
Make-ready decisions lose their evidence
Transfers, rearrangements, guying, replacement or route alternatives are documented separately from the inputs and review status.
A controlled delivery workflow
From first review to operational handover.
Define the authority and data contract
Confirm pole owner requirements, applicable code and loading criteria, survey schema, proposed attachment, review roles and required certification.
Collect and reconcile pole evidence
Build a traceable pole inventory with measurements, spans, attachments, equipment, guys, condition observations, photographs and source confidence.
Run analysis and engineering review
Prepare or execute the agreed loading workflow, surface missing or conflicting inputs and record assumptions, results and exceptions for accountable review.
Package make-ready and handover
Connect each recommendation, permit status and design revision to the pole record, calculation evidence, field source and approval path.
What you receive
Specific deliverables, agreed before rollout.
Final formats and acceptance criteria are confirmed during discovery and tested during the pilot.
- Pole inventory and stable structure identifiers
- Attachment, equipment, guying and span observations
- Measurement, photo and source-evidence register
- Input validation and missing-data exceptions
- Pole-loading calculation files or controlled analysis inputs
- Capacity and clearance review status by structure
- Make-ready, transfer, rearrangement or replacement recommendations
- Application-ready GIS, schedules, exhibits and review package
Operational outcomes
What should be different after the work.
Traceable engineering inputs
Reviewers can follow each structure from field observation through assumptions, analysis status and proposed action.
Faster exception resolution
Missing measurements, conflicting records and non-standard conditions are separated from analysis-ready poles.
A reusable pole data model
The owner or programme team receives structured records that can support design, permitting, construction and As-Built updates.
Katapult Pro workflow support
Connect pole evidence to analysis and make-ready.
Capture and structure
Configure Katapult Pro project data, pole photographs, measurements and attachment records so each analysis input has a traceable source and structure identifier.
Analyse and review
Support Katapult Pro Integrated Pole Loading or the agreed external loading workflow. Confirm owner-approved catalogues, loading criteria, configurations and missing-input exceptions before accepting results.
Integrate and hand over
Connect make-ready outputs, GIS, network inventory and reporting. Deliver reviewed records and calculation evidence; retain the named licensed or owner-approved authority wherever sign-off is required.

Handover is part of delivery
Your team receives more than final files.
Handover includes the governing-source register, survey and asset schema, validated inputs, calculation or analysis records, exception status, make-ready schedule, exhibits, review history and update guidance. Where a licensed or pole-owner-approved engineer must certify the work, that authority is named explicitly in the scope and acceptance workflow.
Common buyer questions
What teams usually need to clarify.
These answers describe our normal approach. The project review confirms what applies to your environment.
Do you support both telecom attachers and pole owners?
Yes. The data and review model can support application preparation, owner review, joint-use coordination or a controlled programme backlog. Responsibilities and access are defined during discovery.
Can you work with existing pole photos and inventory?
Yes. We first profile coverage, measurement quality, structure identity and source currency. Poles that cannot support the required analysis remain in an explicit recapture or clarification queue.
Do you provide sealed structural engineering?
Certification requirements depend on jurisdiction, pole owner and scope. Where a licensed or owner-approved engineer must seal or approve calculations, that role must be provided by a qualified authority named in the project; our workflow does not substitute for required sign-off.
How does make-ready connect to GIS?
Each pole, proposed attachment, calculation status, exception, recommendation, application and construction update uses a stable identifier so progress and evidence remain traceable.
